This month’s OpenSoho will be a joint networking celebration. We’re delighted to announce that the event will also coincide with the fifth birthday of Firefox.
On 19 November, guests of Mozilla will mingle with OpenSoho members at HUB Culture Pavilion to celebrate an important milestone in Firefox’s development.
Five years ago, almost to the day, Mozilla launched Firefox 1.0. Within the first four days of launch, more than 1 millions people had downloaded a brand new browsing experience. In just five years, that number has swelled to over 330 million users worldwide; almost a quarter of Internet users worldwide choose Firefox.
If you’ve yet to purchase your ticket for OpenSoho and you’d like to come and hear from the people behind Firefox, you will need to act today and visit http://opensoho13.eventbrite.com
We have a capacity for 200 guests so make sure you don’t miss out.
The Net.works team and our OpenSoho sponsor Iomart Hosting look forward to seeing you on Thursday, 19 November.
All the best,
Net.works

Phil Worms, Director Corporate Communications, iomart Group plc says:
Sometimes we forget that in this ever changing world of web 2.0/3.0/4.0 and social media buzz, there is still no substitute for good old fashioned face-to-face interaction and social networking. Our association with the OpenSoho Events has been the best value, and without doubt the most enjoyable, marketing exercise that we have undertaken in recent years. The team behind OpenSoho have hit upon a winning formula and work extremely hard to ensure that these events continue to be relevant, informal, well attended and vibrant. We’ve met some great people, generated some very positive leads and closed deals within a few weeks. With a monthly attendee list that would normally take years of sourcing and prospecting to compile, we cannot recommend OpenSoho highly enough to any company that wants to be introduced to the movers and shakers of the IT/Media Industries.
Thanks Phil!
This month’s OpenSoho will take place on 19th November at HUB Culture Pavilion.
HUB Culture Pavilion is located on the first floor of Kingly Court at 49 Carnaby Street.
